I view authentic connection as integral to a sense of belonging in the world, and this orientation forms the basis of all of my patient relationships. While I do offer medication management, I believe that it is this relationship, this mutual and honest exchange, that is the true medicine. With this foundation, a sense of safety can take root that allows one to begin to engage more deeply in the fruits of life: love, creativity, and play.
I completed my undergraduate work at New York University and I hold a doctoral degree in Naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University. While my foundations in health care originate in naturopathic medicine, a field that seeks to address the roots of health with individualized medicine, for over a decade my clinical focus has been in the related domains of psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and a whole-person approach to wellness of heart and mind.
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, and I now live in Seattle with my husband, a clinical psychologist in private practice, and our two children.
